Take 2 and Take 2 The Remixes

Written many years prior to it's official release date of January 2009, Take 2 was finally given the go ahead by The Wisemen and Mi Casa Records to be heard by thousands of faithful fans. Take 2 is a sweet arrangement contrived by a night of partying and studio antics... a weekly tradition with The Wisemen. The "Original Mix" features some lazy, yet playful lyrics encompassed by a bouncin' bassline, airy backup vocals, sweet pads and a sultry piano solo. Don't let this fool you... the "Original Mix" has one hell of a thump to it! The Boy Wonder is back with a fantastic version called "The Boy Wonder Remix". This mix catches a listener's attention right from the start through the crafted quality of the mix and carefully arranged vocal segments. A special remix was created for all those who love Electro House appropriately called the "Electro Remix" which was produced by none other than Darkman. A thumping kick takes presidence over some serious layered synth programming and vocal segments, but the overall sound of Darkman's mix is simply electric.

X-Girlfriend Remixed

WMC2008 in Miami featured some increadible new tracks from various artists. Mi Casa Records featured a great new joint written by Lester McLean (The Lester McLean Trio and Grooveyard) called "X-Girlfriend Remixed". The original cut of "X-Girlfriend" can be found on TLMT album "Best Foot Forward SE" released in 2005.

There are seven mixes including two instrumentals available. The "Radio Edit", "Club Edit" and "Extended Mix" are all bangin' remixes by The Wisemen. Kendall Marin graces his faithful followers with yet another charismatic formula in the "Darkman Mix" while The Boy Wonder conjurs up an increadible vibe with a fantastic mix appropriately named the "Rub a Dub".

The Gates of Heaven Remixes

World renound producers, The Wisemen, have crafted some of the most intricate remixes over the years for various artists. The Gates of Heaven Remixes maintain the disitinct and positive message stemming from Andy Tamashi and Living Soul in the "Spiritual Way" and "Red Party" mixes. The powerful vocals performed by the ever talented Joy Malcolm (Incognito) have also been utilized.

Due to be publicly released August 29, 2007, three special remixes are offered by The Wisemen. Kendall Marin brings forth a fantastic blend of genre's with an Electro House remix called the "Darkman Mix". Robin "The Boy Wonder" Eccleston has vaulted back from a short break away from the House music scene to present two special mixes, the "Funky Remix" and the "New Sensation Dub". An instrumental version of the "Funky Remix" will also be available at your favourite download website.

The Gates of Heaven

One of the policies of Mi Casa Records is to release good music from new and established producers. DJ Andy Tamashi, a staple in Italy's House music scene, presents a fantastic sounding vibe with "The Gates of Heaven" along side with Living Soul. This release features a powerful and soulful vocal performance by the one and only Joy Malcolm (Incognito, Moby). Tamashi carefully crafted two mixes called the "Spiritual Way" and the "Red Party Mix". The Wisemen were given the green light to remix Tamashi's creation and will be released soon after the Tamashi mixes.

Happy Water

Another sizzlin' track by The Wisemen due to be released June 27, 2007. This release features three interesting blends from each of the talented trio "Happy Water Original Mix", "Happy Water Sanchez Remix" and the "Happy Wonder Dub". The "Original" version (mixed by Kendall Marin) contains a catchy vocal performance sure to be repeated any time the mix is played in the clubs. Cyruss Sanchez digs into an electro influenced sound with the "Sanchez Remix" while The Boy Wonder finishes off the spectrum with a funky/groovy "Dub". All three perspectives are solid!
